Paris Photo / Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards have released the shortlist for the PhotoBooks of 2016; Paul Turounet's latest Artists Books Estamos Buscando A (We Are Looking For), made the list. This award for PhotoBooks was initiated in 2013 to celebrate the medium's contribution to the evolving history of the media.

New Mexico State University presents the work of Paul Turounet and Terri Warpinski; the artists "present works that grapple with the complexities and controversies surrounding the constructs of international borders as junctions that designate the present and future for m any migrants in transition as well as the effects on existing communities in border regions" (NMU exhibition text).
